Woosh!

Wowee, what a month! What a new year!

It's been a long time....so here are the highlights....or, lowlights. LOL!

- We got burgled in our old apartment on the 12th of Jan. I woke up while it was happening, and saw what looked like a tall figure dressed all in white with white skin standing just outside the doorway. Chris and I affectionately dubbed him the White Bandit, and I did actually use the word, "albino" in my police description. LMAOOOOOOooo very inconspicious, an albino dressed all in white robbing someone????!!? He managed to take Chris' brand new ipod, his mobile, and my computer tower. Goodbye all the pictures I painstakingly took...all my process photos, photos of Vanessa when she came to visit, photos of my niece and nephew, etc. *sigh* A warrant is issued on some dude in our neighborhood tomorrow. The scary thing is:

a) he climbed up metal railing alongside the building, up two flights onto our balcony to gain access.

b) he was burgling us while we were sleeping and probably saw us asleep and could have done ANYTHING but luckily I woke up.

- Moved into townhouse on the 17th......:) It's so much bigger and nicer, but so much more work. 3 bathrooms. 3 FREAKING bathrooms. WHY does any house need 3 bathrooms, especially when one is all of 5 feet away from another????? I like it here though. Chris and I get our own rooms (LOL....I call mine the arts and craps room) plus we actually have a table to sit and eat at now. I took photos of it (I'm so proud....it's a 50's diner table!!!) but I've got to find the usb cable, unless the burglar managed to steal that as well.

- Chris got into a car accident last week. He was late coming home and I got to wondering, geez, I hope he's ok....he knocks on the front door looking like a lost puppy. Luckily noone was hurt except for the cars! Right now we're using a banana yellow hatchback hired car. we travel in style!

-Put down payment on cat and kitten.....all going well, by mid April we should have a couple of lovely fluffy pals to welcome :D I've already picked out a name for the kitten.......... Pajamas! or Peepers. Which sounds better?? I do love them both. Maybe I'll get another kitten eventually....Hahahahaha.

- No monies.....I was planning and looking forward to some new pieces of furniture, but since my computer was stolen, there goes nearly $2000 I hadn't expected having to fork out. *sigh*

- The weather....has been pretty nice! it got hot for a day or so, then got right chilly, then warmed a bit and was windy, and now it's a bit warmer, but still not bad. thank god for at least one air conditioner!

- I love Abe. He was a very spiritual ma. I wish he would come to me in my dreams already!

That is all for now....I'll post pictures once I find the cable!

Unicornography!

I miss drawing and making things....Look at this weird crap from a year ago...hahaha I love it!

I'm listening to The Falcon...their albumn called Unicornography! I love it! It's like.....punk with a bit of pop, a bit of rockabilly, and a touch of ska (but not in an offensive manner!).

Packing and cleaning. The hell never ends, people!

Sonata Arcitca was so good last nite! As was Ensiferum! I was really bopping a long and enjoying myself, looking from time to time at Chris who frequently had a large cheesy grin plastered On his face. tehe <3! Twords the end of the nite, however, that smile was sometimes replaced by large yawns. Such a sleepy fella.

Talked to my dad today. He was in a strange mood. Like he was joking with me but it was so hard to tell, and I already don't know how to behave when I talk with him cause you never really know what type of mood he's going to be in. It felt like he was trying to make me mad so he could then pick a fight with me. *sigh*

We start moving in our crap this Friday! HOORAY! Hahaha. Not really. I have to spend all Friday cleaning the new place (thanks to my mom I'm a paranoid freak about that stuff, though I'm still somehow a slob. oh well. I'm a mystery! Hahaha). I'll be keeping drinks in an esky I bought recently. I wonder if I'll feel like Hank Hill?

Still waiting to get the ok so we can get kittens. I will accept nothing but an ok. Because that's how the place was advertised...and for them to then say no, no pets allowed, then as far as I'm concerned that's false advertisement and abuse of the terms of the contract (reasonably they cannot refuse us permission). What especially irks me is that Ragdolls are such good cats. It's unheard of for them to get their claws out besides for scratching posts. They're so gentle and mild, and can even take the abuse of small annoying children (much like I was haha) without reaction. PLUS, we're going to get them from a breeder, who doesn't let you have them until about 3 months after they've been litter trained and everything. *sigh*....

BUT. I will stay positive here!

I hope everybody had a very Merry Christmas!

...and a Happy New Year!

I've been busy/not busy. Sounds weird huh? I know! I don't get it either! In mid December I got the notion in my head to look at Realestate.com.au and see what sorts of prices were going for bigger than 2 bedroom apartments (our lease at this palce is up February). And I found some townhouses and such...... and suddenly, Chris and I found ourselves at an inspection for a townhouse closer to his work.

The day we saw it, we were stupefied. And applied right away the next day. In the meantime as I waited for a response, I began packing. Horse before the cart? Sort of....but I had a good feeling we'd get it. And a few days later we found out we did :)

Reminds me of the tract homes in AZ.....ahhhhhhhh....generic home sweet home.

...Complete with especially hideous desert landscaping! Hahahahaha! I love it!

So I began to pack some more. Seems easy...but it's a tricky notion when one already has little to no space to put packed boxes. Suffice it to say, this place is a MESS. A veritable jungle of dangerously-high stacked boxes wherever you look...

And here's a disconcerting shot of clothes piled on top of our new diner dining chairs purchased through eBay. HOORAY! We'll have a table to actually eat at instead of balancing plates on our knees!

ALSO....Sonata Arctica tonite! WOO HOO!!! Look at how cool they are!!
