Feeeeeh. I apologize for not having responded to any emails yet. I've got a big yug presentation tomorrow and have been putting a powerpoint together. It sucks because I don't have a lot of my drawings with me in Melbourne, so I feel lame showing everyone my Ruby paintings. But oh well.. u_u;;;;;;

ReplyDeleteOh, I agree I hate presentations!!! I just had to do one a couple of days ago, but each student was limited to only four minutes to talk about their artwork. Our next one is to do a five minute influences presentation with up to five artists whose work coincides with your own. Slides of the student's work and the artists have to be shown. Ugh! I hate time limits, lol.
Yoou have fun and try to be highly enthusiastic as you speak. Teachers seem to like when the student puts some acting involved, lol. It shows that they love their work and enjoy talking about it. :D
Good luck and show off those Ruby paintings to the fullest. Don't feel lame. Feel proud of your artistic accomplishments. Remember that so many people wish they too had the creative genius genes. Heeheee.

You're right though. I included some mildly stupid things in my slides and tried to have fun with it. The response was good!
